DC Struggling to find Justice in a Marvel world

This actually wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. Don't get me wrong - it's a long way from being anything LIKE as good as the Marvel movies of late - but at least it's not as dark and dreary as the Man of Steel / Batman vs Superman movies preceeding it. It is perhaps sad that my opinion is raised just because it wasn't as crap as I thought it was going to be. Still, it wasn't - so let's go with that.

Ultimately, there’re some good bits in Justice League, but too much of it feels cheap. The main plot line is standard end of the world stuff, with interchangeable evil minions, and a villain whose motivation is vague beyond belief. Afleck's Batman is clearly being tweaked, giving him flirtation and jokes, but neither clicks. I'm really glad they had him keep his rubber suit on too - even when they had him getting out of it. Let’s get real, if Wonder Woman wanted a boyfriend, she’d be eyeing Aquaman, not Batfleck. Gal Gadot is somewhat misused, while Momoa and Fisher are underused in this. Miller and Cavill are refreshing, fun and make me wish this movie was more about the Flash than JL.

Not too bad for DC Movie - but not up to Marvel's Standards
